"Hank"

We got a new pet! When we went to Idaho for my cousins wedding, my cousin Janae had a turtle. My kids loved it! So our kids asked if we could get a turtle too. So we went "Where's Nemo" in American Fork and got a "Redear Slider Turtle". Mason and Karlee were so funny. All the way home they were trying to think of a name for our turtle. They could not agree on a name. One of the names that Karlee suggested was "Kenneth", she said that it was a good name. It was so funny! We finally decided to name our turtle "Hank". But Karlee calls him "Hanky". When we put the turtle in the tank Bryant went crazy! He loves to stand by his tank and just watch him. We love Hank!

Karlee "Her Daddy's Flower Girl"

My cousin Jake and his fiance Ashely asked Karlee to be their flower girl for their wedding. Karlee said she would be a flower girl, but only for her dad! So that was the only way that we could get her to do it! The day of the wedding I took my camera so that I could take a lot of pictures. I had my sister Erica sit in the back with Karlee to tell when to start walking up the aisle and I was sitting on the front row waiting for her to come up. Karlee got half way up the aisle and then she stopped. So I tried to talk her into walking to me but she wouldn't. So instead of me taking a lot of pictures I got to help Karlee finish up the aisle. She did good! She also made the tears start flowing at the wedding! Karlee is a special girl! Kenneth and I are so blessed to have her in our family!

July 4th

Kenneth, Mason, Karlee, Bryant, and I stayed home for the Fourth of July. It was fun! That afternoon we went to the neighbors house for the kids to swim and play in the water. When it started to get dark we lit our fireworks that we had bought. I had to put Bryant in his stroller because he kept trying to touch them. He could not get close enough. The louder they were the better! In one of the pictures Mason and Karlee have their ears covered. But not my crazy Bryant! Thanks Kenny for letting me light most of our fireworks, I love to do it!

Mason Lost His Second Tooth!

Mason got another wobbly tooth. He would not wiggle it so that it could fall out. So his new tooth started to grow in behind the wobbly tooth. One day I asked him if I could touch it. He actually let me so I was moving it and it got pretty loose. But then Mason started getting scared so he closed his mouth. I asked him if I could feel it one more time, and me being the "world's meanest mom" I bent his tooth forward and it popped right out. Mason did not even know that his tooth was out until I showed him. Then he started to cry and asked me why I did that! But then he remembered that he could put his tooth under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy to come, and she did! Mason got $2.00. Kenneth and I never thought that having kids would be so fun and so hard at the same time!!!!! We love our family!!!!!! Thanks Mason for being so forgiving!

Our 8th Anniversary!

Here are some pictures that we took on our trip. Ken and I had a lot of fun, but it is always fun to come home to our kids.

The Shark Reef @ Mandalay Bay

While Ken and I were in Vegas we went to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. It was pretty neat to see all the different fish and reptiles. It was different going to an aquarium without our kids, but we still managed to have fun. The last picture is a sea turtle and some sharks swimming around it.

Kalynn Clogging

On our way to Las Vegas, Ken and I stopped in St. George to see Phil and Diane and their family. Kalynn happened to be clogging, so we got to go and watch her. Man it brought back some old memories for me. Yes if you can believe I did clog when I was younger. Kalynn did a good job and it was 105 degrees.
